Help Kidney Advocates raise their voices louder on Capitol Hill at our Annual Kidney Patient Summit!
Every March, kidney advocates from across the country come to our nation’s capital to meet with their lawmakers. Kicking off National Kidney Month, NKF’s annual Kidney Patient Summit is a powerful expression of grassroots advocacy and an important reminder for Members of Congress that kidney disease is a national healthcare priority and growing public health crisis.
Last year, more than 100 advocates met with their lawmakers in-person to stress the urgency around legislation that would protect living kidney donors; expand access to home dialysis; and expand federal programs that promote kidney disease awareness, education, and research.
As we prepare to return to the hill again on March 17-18 for the Kidney Patient Summit, we need your support!
Your generous donation to the Kidney Patient Summit directly strengthens NKF’s ability to empower our advocates. By contributing, you help ensure that individuals living with kidney disease—and those who support them—can bring their voices to Washington, D.C. and speak directly with lawmakers about the issues that matter most.
Your support allows us to provide essential travel and lodging assistance so advocates can fully participate in the Summit, regardless of financial barriers. Thanks to donors like you, more voices are heard, more stories are shared, and meaningful progress is made for the kidney community.
Thank you for helping us bring the patient perspective to Congress and for making a positive impact for kidney patients nationwide.
