Dear Family & Friends,
I am excited to announce that I've been selected to represent The National Kidney Foundation in the New York City Marathon this November.
Coming off of the fete of completing my first half marathon, now it's time to conquer another challenge.
This means a lot to me. I lost my sister Dianne Peri Lewis last Easter, April 20, 2025, to renal failure while she was on the transplant list. That was a lot harder than a marathon can ever be. If I can help another person in the same situation, it would mean the world. My friend Kevin Connell lost his dad Philip John Connell to renal failure earlier this year so now I will be running in the memory of Dianne and Philip and 37 million people are living with kidney disease. I am also running for the amazing teacher from Wilton High School Dan Pompa who received a kidney about 4 years ago. 1 in 3 are at risk. Let's do this together!
If you love me, open your wallets and/or cheer me on. My goal is $3000.00. Since I started this journey I have raised over $3000.00. For every 1000.00 raised over the goal of $3000.00, I'll donate an additional 10% beyond my goal.
