Why I Run
Right now, 37 million American adults are living with kidney disease, and I’m not okay with that. I run because 1 in 3 people are at risk for kidney disease and because more than 1 in 7 people have it but aren’t aware.
I’m excited to share that I’ll be running the New York City Marathon this November as part of Team Kidney! This cause is especially meaningful to me because my brother, William Tanner, was born with kidney disease, and I’ve seen firsthand the challenges that come with it. This incredible opportunity also comes with a meaningful responsibility—fundraising to support kidney disease research, patient programs, and advocacy. Every mile I run will be in honor of him and others affected, and I would truly appreciate any support you can give. Donations of any size make a difference and help bring hope to so many individuals and families. Thank you for being part of this journey with me!
