I’m so honored (and honestly a little emotional) to be running my first full marathon in the New York City Marathon with the National Kidney Foundation 🧡

This journey is so much more than just 26.2 miles—it’s deeply personal to me.

About 2½ years ago, I had the privilege of becoming a living kidney donor for my boyfriend—now my fiancé—Erik. Walking through that experience opened my eyes to the strength, resilience, and hope that so many patients and families carry every single day. It changed me forever.

Now, I’m running to give back.

I’m running for those still waiting.

I’m running for families navigating the unknown.

I’m running to support the life-saving work of the National Kidney Foundation.
