Why I Run
Over 10 years ago, my father donated a kidney to save my aunt's life. Since then, my family and I have proudly supported the National Kidney Foundation through walks, 5Ks, golf outings, fundraising efforts, and more.
Running the NYC marathon has always been a lifelong dream of mine, and I am honored to be running as a part of Team Kidney, representing the NKF. I will be running for both my family and all the people around the world whose lives have been impacted by kidney disease.
Today, more than 90,000 people in the United States are waiting for a kidney transplant, with an average wait time of 3 to 5 years. By running the NYC marathon, I hope to raise awareness and funds needed to support the NKF's mission and the vital work they do every day.
Every donation helps fund life-saving research, patient support, and education for those affected.
Thank you so much for your support!
