As I begin my journey as CEO of the National Kidney Foundation (NKF), I've had the privilege of meeting patients, families, caregivers, living donors, advocates, and volunteers whose courage inspires me.

One thing has become clear: like cancer, every kidney disease diagnosis begins a new chapter.

A diagnosis changes everything. A family learns to navigate dialysis. A loved one begins the search for a living donor for a kidney transplant. In these moments, people turn to NKF for trusted guidance, compassionate support, groundbreaking research, and hope that they're not facing this journey alone.
