Why I Run
Right now, 37 million American adults are living with kidney disease, and I’m not okay with that. I run because 1 in 3 people are at risk for kidney disease. I run because more than 1 in 7 people have it but aren’t aware.

Since meeting Nick and being a part of the Luisi family, I have been able to experience the unconditional love of a big family. Nick’s Dad, Tony, being the ring leader of the group, always bringing everyone together and making everyone laugh. When Tony needed a kidney, Nick did not even hesitate to jump in and donate his. I run for the best father son duo, Tony and Nick, and to create more awareness for kidney disease!
