Pediatric kidney disease requiring dialysis and transplantation is rare…so is a typical camp experience for the less than one percent of kids with this diagnosis.
 

Camp ChiMer brings together children ages 9-18 who are undergoing dialysis or have had a kidney transplant. Camp provides them the opportunity to enjoy the “normal” summer activities, such as swimming, in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. Camp gives every kid the chance to thrive: cultivating connection, community, independence and adventure.
